Ingrid Jacobsen SE, b. 1996

Ingrid Jacobsen (b. 1996; SE) lives and works in Malmö. She graduated with an MFA from Malmö Art Academy in 2025. Ingrid Jacobsen’s work moves between the figurative and the abstract, exploring how photography can shift our perception of reality. Through analogue and chemical processes, she transforms photographic images into imaginary landscapes, textures and spaces. Her images move between photography and painting, creating a painterly language through colour, light, surface and material.
