Anyang Public Art Project (APAP) is a public art event that encourages its participants to reimagine the way they understand and perceive the city. It is a project to transform the city itself into a gallery in which people can enjoy art in their daily life.
"Installed in the Anyang Pavilion, their [Stine Deja and Marie Munk] work encounters the viewer in the form of a hand placed in front of the inexpressive face of a giant lime-green head. The hand moves repetitively, as if scrolling through a social media feed. The moving hand represents the new human habit of mechanically accepting and acquiring information without any filtering, in this so-called information society."
