Tanja Nis-Hansen | Cogito Ergonomic Sum: Opening Friday 09 January 5–8PM

OTP Copenhagen is excited to announce Cogito Ergonomic Sum, a solo exhibition by Tanja Nis-Hansen opening at the gallery Friday 09 January 5–8PM.

In Nis-Hansen’s latest works, the office interior becomes a site of adaptation, transformation and contemplation. Through a new sculptural work and a series of paintings, the exhibition evokes the existential and exterior conditions of employment in relation to the body, while exploring the relationship between inward reflection and physical labour.

Tanja Nis-Hansen (b. 1988, Faxe; DK) lives and works between Berlin and Copenhagen. The artist graduated with an MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts, Hamburg under the supervision of Professor Jutta Koether. Works by the artist are held in the permanent collections of The Danish Arts Foundation and the New Carlsberg Foundation. In 2026, Tanja Nis-Hansen will have a solo show at Kasseler Kunstverein, Germany.
