OTP Copenhagen is proud to present minijobs & to-dos, a two-person exhibition by Astrid Kajsa Nylander and Julie Koldby, marking the first presentation by either artist with the gallery. The exhibition explores an approach to painting informed by the performance of artistic labour, as well as themes of professionalism and productivity.

Astrid Kajsa Nylander presents new works from her ongoing ‘minijobs’ series – shaped canvasses that depict enlarged buttons in the process of being threaded, referencing domestic labour, the work of women artists, collecting habits, op-art and the erotic. The exhibition also features new whiteboard paintings by Julie Koldby – stretched canvases that have been primed with an industrial whiteboard paint and then used as working surfaces (replete with to-do lists, notes to self and doodles) where functional application flips into an exploration of abstract painting.
