‘You’re so great and I love you,’ a solo exhibition of new paintings by Keith Boadwee opens at Margin Gallery, Tokyo on 23 June 2023, marking the artist's debut solo exhibition in Japan.
The exhibition features twelve of oil on canvas paintings, centering around the motif of anthropomorphic animals, which has been the focal point of Boadwee's artistic exploration in recent years. The works challenge themes of identity and loss of self as new portraits that are not bound by assumptions of gender, race, or class.
